Concert  at the National Arts Centre 4th Stage:  July 1st CANADA DAY 1:30  and 3pm

“Waiting for  you…En t’attendant…” features Gertrude Létourneau, singer and flutist at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre for the past 11 years. She will be accompanied by two excellent jazz musicians, Garry Elliott, guitarist and Don Paterson, trumpet player.  This concert honors our veterans, their spouse and all Canadian military families. The program includes songs from 1930-50 such as Harbour lights, J’attendrai, Give me something to remember you by and Que reste-t-il de nos amours. Free admission

“En t’attendant…Waiting for  you…” est un  concert-hommage pour nos anciens combattants, pour leurs épouses et époux ainsi que pour toutes nos familles militaires canadiennes. La chanteuse et flûtiste Gertrude Létourneau musicienne au Centre de santé Perley et Rideau pour anciens combattants depuis plus de 11 ans sera accompagnée par deux excellents musiciens jazz, Garry Elliott, guitare, et Don Paterson,  trompette. Au programme, chansons des années 30 à 50  telles que J’attendrai, Harbour lights, Que reste-t-il de nos amours, Give me something to remember you by. Concert gratuit.

I am proud to be part of the CONCERTS IN CARE SPRING FESTIVAL presented by HEALTH ARTS SOCIETY. Garry Elliott, guitarist and myself are performing in several Seniors Homes in Ottawa this spring.

Je suis fière de faire partie du CONCERTS IN CARE SPRING FESTIVAL presenté par HEALTH ARTS SOCIETY. Garry Elliott, guitariste et moi-même à la flûte présentons des concerts dans diverses maisons pour personnes agées d’Ottawa ce printemps.
