Concert for Veterans – Concert pour les Anciens Combattants

Musical tribute to our Veterans and their families at the Canadian War Museum, Saturday November 10th, 2012 3pm

Concert hommage à nos anciens combattants et leurs familles au Musée canadien de la guerre, Samedi le 10 novembre à 15h
Waiting for  you…En t’attendant…” features Gertrude Létourneau, singer and flutist. She will be accompanied by two excellent jazz musicians, Garry Elliott, guitarist and Don Paterson, trumpet player.  This concert honors our veterans, their spouse and all Canadian military families. The program includes songs from 1930-50 such as Red Sails in the Sunset, J’attendrai, Give me something to remember you by and White Cliffs of Dover.


Le spectacle Waiting for  you…En t’attendant…” avec la chanteuse et flûtiste Gertrude Létourneau, accompagnée de deux excellents musiciens de jazz, Garry Elliott, guitare et Don Paterson,  trompette est un concert-hommage à nos anciens combattants, à leurs épouses et à toutes les familles militaires canadiennes. Au programme :chansons et musique des années 1930-50  aux saveurs de jazz. Vous entendrez, entre autres, J’attendrai,Give me something to remember you by, La mer et White Cliffs of Dover.
